One Bright scarf - (adapted from 10 Little Fingers at Storytime Rocks)

One bright scarf waiting for the wind to blow (hold in hand)
Wiggle it high (wiggle scarf above head)
Wiggle it low (wiggle scarf by knees)
Shake it fast (wiggle scarf quickly)
Shake it slow (wiggle scarf slowly)
Put it behind your back
Where did it go? (bring out empty hands)

Felt
Colorful Butterflies from Caterpillars and Butterflies Storytime by Miss Meg's Storytime

Colorful Butterflies

The first to come to the garden bed
is a lovely butterfly of brilliant RED

Then in comes another and that makes two
Fly right in, my friend of BLUE

This garden is fine, the best I’ve seen
says the butterfly of the softest GREEN

Our garden needs a sunny fellow
Fly in butterfly, with wings of YELLOW

Little friend of PURPLE, fly in too
the garden is waiting for a color like you

Hello ORANGE, we’ve waited so long
fly in, right where you belong

Butterflies, Butterflies, you’re such a sight
Flying together with such delight!

Good Night, Owl Felt from Flannel Friday: Good-Night, Owl by Pat Hutchins by Read Rabbit Read.
How is Owl supposed to sleep the day away with the bees buzzing, the woodpecker pecking, the doves cooing, and the squirrels crunching? But when night falls and everything is finally quiet, suddenly there’s a new sound—and it’s coming from Owl!  (Simon&Schuster)
Good Night, Owl

Rhyme
Little Jingle Mouse is from Toddler Story Time - Roar! I'm a Dinosaur! on Library Village I like to do this song with clapping as well and it is great for outreach.  Since we used scarves today we clapped along with the rhyme instead of taking the bells out.

I heard a little clapping,  (clap hands softly)
Right inside my house.
It sounded like the clapping
Of a little clapping mouse.
He clapped up to the ceiling,  (clap hands high over head)
he clapped down to the floor,  (clap hands down on the floor)
he clapped all around my house (move clapping hands in a cirlce)
until  he began to snore...
(clap softer and softer until its silent)

Mailbox - Fox
Door - Dinosaur

Closing
We Clap Our Hands Like This - Tune Farmer in the Dell. Borrowed from Opening/Closing Songs on Storytime Katie who borrowed it from Rhymes for Toddlers on Sunflower Storytime.

We clap our hands like this

We clap out hands like this
We clap our hands with all of our friends
We clap our hands like this.

We blow a kiss like this

We blow a kiss like this
We blow a kiss with all of our friends
We blow a kiss like this.

We wave goodbye like this.
We wave goodbye like this.
We wave goodbye with all our friends.
We wave goodbye like this.

Craft
Our craft was a hiking boot lacing card.  I know there is an ellison die cut boot that worksvery well for this.  I used clip art on card stock and then punched out the holes with a single hole punch.  Each child got some yard for their lace and we practiced tying our shoes.
